Argo Defence Group has completed its first fully reported quarter as a listed company with what it described as strong momentum.
The Stockholm-headquartered group, which comprises six subsidiaries, reported a 207 percent increase in order intake to SEK 90.3 million and improved profitability, with EBITDA reaching SEK 10.2 million.

Based in Stockholm, Argo Defence Group operates within both military and civil defence, with three business areas: Defence Materiel, Counter-Explosive Risk Solutions and Airfield Operations.
The Group was established in 2025 and is built on subsidiaries with origins dating back to the 1950s. Today, we have approximately 40 employees across six locations, with headquarters in Stockholm and operations in Gothenburg, Jönköping, Kumla, Fjugesta, and Kyiv.
Through six specialized subsidiaries, the Group delivers products and services in defence materiel, EOD equipment and explosive risk management, advanced breathing and diving systems, as well as airfield infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on meeting high technical and operational requirements.

Selme described the first-quarter report as particularly significant for the newly established group, as it marks the first reporting period based on actual figures rather than pro forma reporting.

AdvertisementFramework agreements remain a central part of the company’s business model. Argo said the total value of its ongoing framework agreements amounts to approximately SEK 867 million, of which approximately SEK 583 million remains unutilised.
Selme said the company enters the remainder of 2026 with confidence, supported by a strong pipeline, organisational readiness and a financial position that allows continued investment.
